22-523 (Davis): Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act
(“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq., would impose
prohibitions or restrictions upon you with regard to serving
on \[Entity 1’s\] \[Body\], a \[Type of Corporation\] created to
support the mission of \[Entity 2\], a \[Type of Entity\] in
\[Geographical Location\], Pennsylvania.
22-524 (Roering): Re: As a Member of Council for Mount Joy Borough
(“Borough”), would you have a conflict of interest under
Section 1103(a) of the Public Official and Employee Ethics
Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1103(a), with regard to
voting on a request by a non-profit corporation named
“Voyage Mount Joy” for a permit to utilize a Borough park or
street for an event or for a variance to a noise ordinance to
have music at an event, when you are a Member of the
Board of Directors of Voyage Mount Joy?

prohibitions or restrictions upon an individual serving as a
Member of a Township Board of Supervisors with regard to
voting on a proposed short-term rental ordinance where the
individual is the majority shareholder of a short-term rental
property
22-526 (Mueller): Re: Would a Commissioner for Harrison Township
(“Township”) have a conflict of interest under Section
1103(a) of the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act
(“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1103(a), with regard to
participating in discussions, votes, or other actions of the
Township Board of Commissioners pertaining to the
appropriation of funds for Citizens Hose Co., a volunteer fire
department which provides services for the Township, when
the Township Commissioner is a Member of the Board of
Directors and President of Citizens Hose Co.?
22-527: Re: Would the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act
(“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq., impose prohibitions

or restrictions upon two individuals serving as Members of
the \[Governing Body\] for a \[Political Subdivision\] or an
individual serving as the \[Political Subdivision\] \[Position\], all
of whom have been invited to attend an \[Event\] in \[Country\],
with regard to accepting an offer by an \[Entity\] to subsidize
the costs of attending the \[Event\], where: (1) the \[Entity\]
receives an annual appropriation from the \[Political
Subdivision\]; and (2) the \[Entity\] proposes to subsidize the

by Waste Management, Inc. (“Waste Management”), where

prohibitions or restrictions upon employment of an Assistant
to the District Executive (Administrative Officer 4) following
termination of service with the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (“PennDOT”).
22-530-(Hafner-Dillon) Re: Would the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act
(“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq., impose prohibitions
or restrictions upon a state legislator serving in the
Pennsylvania Senate as a result of the state legislator’s
private activity as a co-director and a co-owner of a for-profit
limited liability company?
22-531-(Pellegrino): Re: Would the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act
(“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq., permit a state
legislator serving in the Pennsylvania Senate, who in a
private capacity is a co-director and a co-owner of a for-profit
limited liability company, to hire the other co-director and co-
owner of the limited liability company as a part-time member
of the state legislator’s staff?
22-532-(Rowan): Re: Would four Members of Council for Everson Borough
(“Borough”), each of whom is an officer (i.e., President, Vice-
President, Treasurer, or Chaplain) of the Everson Volunteer
Fire Department (“Volunteer Fire Department”), have a

Official and Employee Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. §
1103(a), with regard to voting on matters that would
financially impact the Volunteer Fire Department?
22-533-(Muscante): Re: Whether, pursuant to the Public Official and
Employee Ethics Act (Ethics Act), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
an individual (the Individual) serving as Borough Council
President would be permitted to resign from Borough
Council and subsequently be appointed by the other
members of Borough Council to the newly created position
of Borough Manager?
22-534-(Schreiner): Re: Would the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act
(“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq., prohibit or restrict
an individual employed as the Assistant Fire Chief – Field
Services and Operations for the Regional Fire Protection
Program of the Centre Region Council of Governments from
accepting part-time employment as an Account Manager for
Glick Fire Equipment Co. Inc., which repairs certain fire
apparatus for the Regional Fire Protection Program?
22-535-(Tadken): Re: As a member of Council for Indian Lake Borough
(Borough) and/or as Chairman of the Borough’s Planning
Commission, would you have a conflict of interest under

participating in discussions with Borough Council regarding
revisions to a short-term rental ordinance and in crafting the
revised ordinance as Chairman of the Planning Commission

public employment following your service as a

former public official/employee with the Sheriff’s Department
of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania from entering into a
contract to provide defensive driving training to members of
