22-004 (Urbanic): Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon an
individual who is employed as the 311 Manager of the
311 Response Center of the City of Pittsburgh with
regard to receiving compensation from a consulting
firm for reviewing a proposal that the consulting firm
plans to submit to Madison, Wisconsin, in relation to
311 (i.e., non-emergency) citizen support services.
22-005 (Jones): Re: Whether an individual employed as the Chief
Mechanic/Plant Process Chief for the Lower Bucks
County Joint Municipal Authority would be considered
a “public employee” subject to the Public Official and
Employee Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101
et seq., and the Regulations of the State Ethics
Commission, 51 Pa. Code § 11.1 et seq., and
particularly, the requirements for filing Statements of
Financial Interests.
22-007: Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon a
Member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly (the
“State Legislator”) — specifically a Member of the
\[CHAMBER\] — who in a private capacity is the

with regard to:
22-008 (Hazelwood): Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee

of legislative events in their “new” legislative districts.
22-009: Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon a
Member of the Pennsylvania General Assembly (the
“State Legislator”) — specifically a Member of the
\[CHAMBER\] — who will be leaving public office on
\[DATE 1\], with regard to:
(1) Entering into an employment contract with a
\[TYPE OF ENTITY\] prior to \[DATE 1\], for employment
that would begin on \[DATE 2\];
(2) Performing the duties of his public position as a
State Legislator during the time period between the
execution of an employment contract with the \[TYPE
OF ENTITY\] and \[DATE 1\]; or
(3) Performing work for the \[TYPE OF ENTITY\]
following \[DATE 1\].
