ORDER OF THE COMMISSION

The State Ethics Commission has received a complaint
regarding you and a possible violation of Act 170 of 1978.
The State Ethics Commission has completed its investigation
into these allegations and finds there was a violation of
the Act when you failed to report all required sources of
income.
The individual allegations and findings on which our
conclusion is based are:
I. Allegation: That you failed to disclose your wife's
occupation in Item 11 on your Financial Interest Statement.
II. Allegation: That you failed to disclose custom work (a
harvesting service) as a source of income in Item 15
for calendar year 1980.
III. Findings /Discussion: Section 5 of Act 170 requires
the name, and address of any person (a business,.. individual
corporation, union, association, firm, partnership,
committee, club, or other organization or group of
persons) who is the direct or indirect source of income
totaling in the aggregate of $500 or more.
IV. Conclusion: While the failure to give complete information
in Items 11 and 15 outlined above is a violation of the
Act, you have amended your Statement. The Commission
accepts this amended information and will take no
further action.
You have amended your Statement to include all reportable
items.

This decision is not to be viewed as a precedent.
It applies only to this situation. Future violations
will be reviewed and the Commission will take all
possible actions to enforce the law and,provide fi-
nancial interest information to the public.
Our files in this case will remain confidential in
accordance with Section 8(a) of the Ethics Act, 65 P.S.
408(a). However, this Order is final and will become avail-
able as a public document within 15 days unless you file
documentation with the Commission which justifies recon-
sideration and /or challenges pertinent factual findings.
During this 15 -day period, no one, including the Re-
spondent and /or Complainant, may violate this confidentiality
by releasing, discussing or circulating this Order. Any
person who violates the confidentiality of a Commission
proceeding is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not
more than $1000 or imprisoned for not more than one year or
both, see 65 P.S. 409(e).
