Re: #81 -55 -C
Dear Mr. Erdman:
#81 -55 -C (2 -5)
The State Ethics Commission has received a complaint
regarding you and a possible violation of Act 170 of 1978.
The Commission has now completed its investigation into
these actions and finds a violation.
The individual allegation and finding on which our
conclusion is based are:
I. Allegation: That you possibly omitted sources of
income over $500 on your Financial Interest Statement
for calendar years 1979 and 1980.
Findings /Discussion: Section 5(5). of Act 170 requires
the name and address of any person who is the direct or
indirect source of income totalling in the aggregate
$500 or more.
You filed an amended Financial Interest Statement for
calendar years 1979 and 1980 with this Commission on
Au &ust 28, 1981.
You did violate the disclosure provision of Act 170
by omitting sources of income on your original filing
but your amendment corrects this omission.
