HomeMy WebLinkAbout46 DouthettMs. Maxine Douthett Maple Drive Warrendale, PA 15086 Re: #80 -42 -C (5 -5) Dear Ms. Douthett: STATE ETHICS COMMISSION 308 FINANCE BUILDING HARRISBURG, PENNSYLVANIA 17120 ORDER OF THE COMMISSION June 16, 1981 No. 46 #80 -42 -C (5 -5) On December 8, 1980, you were informed that the State Ethics Commission had received a complaint regarding you and a possible violation of Act 170 of 1978. The Commission has now completed its investigation into these allegations and finds no violation of Act 170. Allegation #1: That you failed to report possible income from the Sanitary Authority on your Financial Interest Statement. Conclusion: There is no violation of Act 170. You have never served in any capacity with the Marshall Township Sanitary Authority nor have you received any compensation from the Authority. Allegation #2: That you did not make Financial Interest Statements available to the public upon request. Conclusion: You agree that Financial Interest Statements are available to the public and are making them readily available. One requestor was asked to return the next day because you were working to meet a deadline for the Township Supervisors' Meeting of that evening. All files in this case will remain confidential. However, this Order is final and will become available as a public document within 15 days unless you file documentation with the Commission which justifies reconsideration and /or challenges pertinent factual findings made. Ms. Maxine Douthett June 16, 1981 Page -2- Until this 15 -day period has expired, NO ONE, including the Respondent- addressee, may violate the confidentiality of these proceedings by releasing, discussing or circulating this Order. Any person who violates the confidentiality of a Commission proceeding is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $1000. or imprisoned for not more than one year or both, see 65 P.S. 409(e).
