Develop program guidelines for public education and training regarding compulsive/problem
gambling; make grants for the purpose of providing treatment and prevention programs; maintain a
toll-free telephone number to assist problem gamblers; conduct studies to identify problem or
compulsive gamblers; collaborate with other entities to implement a strategic plan for the prevention
and treatment of compulsive gambling.
