15-560:
Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon an A
for \[name of political subdivision\] (“the Political
Subdivision”) with regard to participating in
discussions or votes by the Political Subdivision B
pertaining to a land development application/plan and
project relating to property owned by \[name of entity\]
(“Entity 1”), where: (1) Entity 1 and \[name of entity\]
(“Entity 2”) are both legal entities under C; and (2) the
A’s spouse is an owner and partner in a privately held
company that makes sales to Entity 2 but does not
make any sales to Entity 1.

Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon a State
Legislator serving in the \[Chamber of the General
Assembly\] with regard to assisting the A in an
ongoing proceeding before the B pertaining to a C
filed against the A with respect to the D of the E,
where: (1) in his private capacity, the State Legislator
has an F relationship with the \[type of firm\] of
\[identification of firm\] (“the Firm”) as a G to the Firm;
(2) the Firm is the H for the A; (3) the State Legislator
would assist the A in his capacity as a public official
and would not assist the A on behalf of the Firm; and
(4) the State Legislator would not receive from the
Firm any income associated with the proceeding
before the B.

Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose restrictions upon employment of a
Safety Inspection Supervisor following termination of
employment with the Pennsylvania Department of
Health (“Department of Health”).

Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,

would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon a
township supervisor, who is also a member of a
county municipal authority board, with regard to voting
on matter(s) pertaining to the potential sale of the
township municipal authority, where the county
municipal authority might be interested in buying the
township municipal authority.

Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon an
individual employed by the City of Philadelphia (“City”)
as a Social Work Supervisor with the City Department
of Human Services with regard to working--either prior
or subsequent to retirement from City employment--as
a trainer for a private provider that may have
contract(s) with the City.

would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon a
member of a borough variance hearing board with
regard to providing snow plowing services to the
borough for the 2015-2016 snow season.

would impose restrictions upon employment of a Civil
Engineer Manager – Bridges following termination of
employment with the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (“PennDOT”).

Re: Whether the Public Official and Employee
Ethics Act (“Ethics Act”), 65 Pa.C.S. § 1101 et seq.,
would impose prohibitions or restrictions upon a
township supervisor, who is also an employee of a
regional authority, with regard to participating in
discussions, deliberations, votes, or other actions of
the township board of supervisors pertaining to the
township’s approval of the potential sale by a
municipal authority of the municipal authority’s sewer
system, where the regional authority has expressed
interest in purchasing the sewer system.
